Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Reflecting on the analogies and differences between the manuscript and printed versions of the collection of poems Fior di Delia by Antonio Ricco, the contribution provides a hypothesis on the biographical story of the author ‒ about whom very little is known ‒ who lived between the 15th and 16th centuries. In the article, the changes that Antonio Ricco made to the edition of the book of poems are traced back to a change in the use of the texts: the manuscript anthology is to be understood as intended for the Mantuan court of Francesco II Gonzaga, while the printed one is instead to be considered addressed to Venetian society at the beginning of the 16th century. The essay focuses in particular on some sonnets on political subjects excluded from the printed collection, which are examined in the body of the article and published in the appendix.
