Legami familiari: tra misteriosa attrattiva e timore

[Autom. eng. transl.] What is the identity of the family in contemporary society? What are the relationships? What challenges does it face both in internal ties and in relation to the social context? This agile volume, edited by the University Center for Studies and Research on the Family of the Catholic University, addresses these questions from an interdisciplinary perspective: The demographic, economic, anthropological-philosophical, sociological and psychological contributions illuminate the present scenario, in which families are currently placed, and that which will characterize their near future. Topics such as: the challenges that the economic crisis has placed on them within a scenario of sustainable demography, the educational tasks and the intergenerational transmission, the regeneration of ties through forgiveness, the delicate balance between work time and family time. The specificity of the family as a real strategic resource of our times, capable of making the life of the community richer, emerges clearly.
