Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] After some methodological considerations on the practice of critical "lectura" - in the sense of collective exegesis in which each interpreter examines a part of a literary text -, in recent years applied to the great five-seventeenth-century poems ("Orlando furioso", "Gerusalemme liberata" , "Adonis"), the intervention reports on a similar ongoing initiative concerning "La secchia rapita", and then goes on to illustrate the main results emerged from reading the VI canto of Tassoni's work. Two aspects in particular are investigated: the affinities that "La secchia" shows with the important comic tradition of the previous century, represented in the first place by Francesco Berni, Aretino, Annibal Caro; and the relationship between the octaves of the poem and the "Declarations of Mr. Gasparo Salviani", that is the commentary written by the same author from Modena.
