Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] One of the objectives that we set ourselves with the research is «Digitized blue-collar work. Investigation in the Bolognese engineering industry "was to reconstruct the state of the art of the implementation of High Performance Work Practices (HPWP) in the companies under study. In particular, it was intended to understand, on the basis of the experiences and perceptions of workers, if and how these practices have been implemented in companies considered advanced from a technological and organizational point of view. But what are HPWPs? What relationship do they have with Industry 4.0? These are the questions at the heart of this chapter.
