Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The recording of frozen sequences has always been a challenge for lexicographers, who have to place these complex elements in a work that prioritizes simple words, while distinguishing the products of the freezing from other non-fixed phrase sequences. In the field of bilingual lexicography, other problems arise, because because of their cultural specificity, frozen sequences are more or less strongly opposed to translation into another language. However, the bilingual dictionary consultants naturally turn to this tool to solve the difficulties they encounter in decoding and encoding the frozen sequences of the foreign language. In this study, the access path to Sequences Frozen in the bilingual dictionary is analyzed according to its different forms and main stages: identification, identification, interpretation and re-use of the information provided (presentation in language or speech presence and typology of variants and use marks, equivalents). The analysis grid thus developed is applied to a corpus of four bilingual French-Italian dictionaries on paper and computerized.
