Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Fund rising is not a mere collection of economic resources, but rather a series of strategic actions implemented to achieve an objective of growth and development of an organization. It is an activity whose birth is traditionally linked to the Catholic Church and which is strongly growing all over the world. Beyond the observance of the steps related to its cycle, its effectiveness is linked to a communicative factor and, in particular, to the ability of the fundraiser to persuade the interlocutors. The paper deals with the issue of fund raising, highlighting its connection with rhetoric and illustrating the main rhetorical techniques that can be used in this area.
