Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The tension to a spiritual or transcendent dimension is present in contemporary art more than it has long been held. The text proposes reflection on perspectives that, moving from iconographic and stylistic suggestions, but extending to broader questions, introduce fundamental questions about the relationship that art has maintained and entertains with the way in which the themes of the absolute and the transcendent reverberate in the art of all time.
