Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Here is the reason that justifies and motivates this volume, which closes the course of a year to discover the universe of the Flowers of Evil. Twelve students put themselves to the test, let themselves be penetrated by the Baudelairian sensibility and tried to share the emotion, offering their personal insight. They embarked on a journey through the Baudelairian senses, a free and guided exploration that is, perhaps, the only way to truly approach poetry by discovering the 'senses', or 'essence' of the Flowers: it is the title they have chosen to restore the value of the experience. It is this operation of putting into relation - of sensations, thoughts, instruments, dialogues - that makes the richness of the attempt: to absorb the literary work (by the reading, the practice, the reflection) at the bottom to somehow participate in the 'creation' of his Sense.
