Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Schools with 30% or more of foreign students rose from 3.9% in 2010/2011 to 4.3% in 2011/2012. The school orders most affected by the concentration of pupils with non-Italian citizenship are those of childhood and primary education, where the complexes with high incidence rates (from 40% to 50%) have increased in a year, by 25% and by 39 %. Overall, 5.4% of kindergartens and 4.1% of primary schools welcome students with non-Italian citizenship at or above 30%. Among the secondary schools of the second degree there is a sharp increase in the concentration of foreign presence, as there is a growth of 20% of schools with percentages between 30 and 40, a 9% increase in schools with percentages from 40 to 50 and a 22% increase in schools with a foreign majority.
