Le relazioni familiari generative come risorsa per la transizione all’età adulta

[Autom. eng. transl.] The evolutionary task of the transition to adulthood is to move from a condition of dependence on parents, in which relations between parents and children are characterized by verticality and asymmetry, to a condition in which family relationships become more symmetrical, favoring the independence of the young person. In the long transition to adulthood, the family finds itself having to take on a generative perspective that promotes the planning of a family in the young person together with an ever greater protagonism in the sphere of work and / or social commitment. The objective of this contribution is, starting from Italian and international research data, to highlight how the family constitutes a resource considering both the family system as a whole, in terms of family processes, and considering the relational exchange, in terms of support emotional or financial.
