Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The value of the term Paradise in biblical theological literature at the time of Dante takes on the punctual value of the eternal "residence" of God and the blessed. Characteristics are the purely spiritual nature and the exclusive describability in terms of pure light. In Paradise, love-love triumphs, which is fulfilled in continuity with the development in the earthly life of the theological virtues of faith and hope.
