Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The combination of tariffs, subsidies, quotas and sanctions that have been introduced in recent years constitutes a set of barriers to trade that will inevitably influence the future phase of globalisation. The globalization and commercial relations that await us in the future will therefore be different from the last phase of hyperglobalization, also because the consideration of geo-political factors will become an increasingly important element in defining the choices regarding the location of the productive activities that characterize the GVCs .
