Le parole del Vocabulista nel Morgante

[Autom. eng. transl.] The intervention describes the relationship between the Vocabulista, a small repertoire of classical erudition and rare words that Pulci compiled in the course of his life, and Morgante. The Vocabulist's analysis is fruitful in several respects: it allows us to deepen the study of Pulci as an author (of which he gives us the image of a patient vocabulary collector, intent on preparing a reservoir of words from which to draw upon during the drafting of his works) and at the same time, in a broader perspective, it allows to improve the knowledge of the language of the fifteenth century, as the handbook can be considered a faithful mirror of the lexical knowledge of the time.
