Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting from the Noterelle of GC Abba and I Mille by G. Bandi, the essay outlines the formation of the myth of Garibaldi, its evolution in the passage from the writers of Garibaldi to the rhetoric of Carducci, Pascoli and D'Annunzio, up to its disappearance at the beginning of the twentieth century.
