Le memorie di scuola, il cinema e la TV

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution illustrates some of the results of the work carried out by the research unit of the Catholic University of Milan in the context of the PRIN "School memories between social perception and collective representation. Italy, 1861-2001". After a brief overview of the heuristic contours of object of the investigation - the role of cinema and television in the processes of building collective school memory -, the article presents the "Audiovisual database on schools and teachers" and some publications that may be useful for teachers to reflect on the risks and potential of the media recall of the school past.
