Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The ancient myth of Tiresias, having become a woman, returned to manhood, reborn in this crazy and impeccable work, for which the author coined the adjective "surrealist". A pièce so astounding to have aroused pandemonium: at the first of '17 there was even someone who took out a gun. But The Breasts of Tiresias opened their eyes - they revealed, in the sense of "revealing covering reality". Picasso understood it from the beginning. The others took decades.
