Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution proposes a reflection on the development of Dante's exegesis in Florence in the second half of the century. XIV, with particular reference to the public readings of the poem, including the exposition of Giovanni Boccaccio, interrupted at the beginning of canto XVII due to the precarious health conditions of the Certaldese (1373-1374). Also published is a letter from Ser Guccio di Francesco Gucci, correspondent of Coluccio Salutati, to Andreolo di Cristoforo, which reflects on two passages from the Comedy (Inf. 7, 85-96 and Purg. 16, 73-90), dedicated to the theme of luck.
