Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article examines the role of language teaching / learning in the Faculties of Economics in Italy, highlighting how the knowledge of multiple languages is a component of professional qualification and therefore an asset to access the world of work. The authors' reflection concerns how languages should be taught in the faculties of Economics in the light of an experience conducted at the same faculty of the University of Trento.
