Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article analyzes the position held by Cinzio Violante in the evolution of the themes of the International Weeks of the Mendola, which had a development strongly marked by the Constitutions of the Second Vatican Council, with particular reference to the Mater et Magistra and the Pacem in Terris, but also to Gaudium et Spes dedicated to the Church as a Mystery. Precisely this ecclesiological conception allowed Violante to overcome the contrast between spirituality and institution, always present in the thought of Raphael Morghen.
