Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper analyzes the historical series 1980-2010 of the main macroeconomic aggregates for the group of 24 Mediterranean countries, correlating them with the trend of total factor and labor productivity and a series of indicators related to human capital, physical capital, investment in research and development, which can affect countries' productivity. The research shows significant levels of correlation between productivity trends and aggregate demand for countries with a high level of development.
