Le condizioni strutturali. Lo scenario europeo e il contesto italiano.

[Autom. eng. transl.] To describe and appropriately assess the status of the Children Televion in Italy it is necessary to contextualize the offer within the European television scenario. This context, in fact, is relevant in several structural aspects from the technological to the market one. At the same time, this context proves to be particularly difficult to reconstruct, both because the available data are not always comparable or updated, and because the scenario is very fragmented and rapidly evolving. The chapter aims to describe this scenario starting from some crucial elements in the short and long term. In particular: the digitization process and its different speeds in Europe; the development of Children Television in different European countries and the placement of Italy and its offer in relation to other countries. In particular, European Television Children are described: the distribution between different platforms, the type of channels and the segmentation of the target.
