In such regards, many cases ofvirus diseases have been recently reported. Some ofthese viruses cause severe diseases on grapevine and mealybugs are vectors ofsome ofthem. Hereby different species of mealybugs that showed an increase in their population and causing diseases are described, in particular those belonging to Coccidae, Pseudococcidae and Diaspididae.
