Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay analyzes the regulation of ecclesiastical libraries in the Italian legal system. In particular, it reconstructs the joint commitment of the Catholic Church and state bodies in the light of the agreement signed with the CEI in 2001 for the protection, enhancement and use of ecclesiastical libraries and proposes an exhaustive survey of regional legislation on the subject.
