Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] GreenComp, DigComp and LifeComp aim to equip the EU workforce with the skills needed to ensure that the green and digital transitions are socially fair and just and to strengthen the Union's sustainable competitiveness and resilience to negative external shocks. Better and more appropriate skills open up new opportunities and enable people to successfully manage changes in the labour market and to fully engage in society and democracy, to exploit and benefit from the possibilities offered by the green and digital transitions and to exercise their rights, leaving no one behind. All educational and training institutions, in particular universities, can and must see it as their responsibility to engage intensively with the problems and opportunities of the green and digital transition, promoting the development of the skills needed to govern the required change.
