Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The immigrant entrepreneurs analyzed are distributed in different sectors of activity, generally starting from previous work experience in those same activities as employees. The motivations for opening one's own business derive, in many cases, from knowing the production sector of reference, confirming that for many immigrants, job mobility derives not so much from real career opportunities within dependent work, but from transition to self-employment within the same productive sector.
