Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] With the first part of this volume the publication of the documents of degree of the University of Pavia reaches until 1499, completing the picture of the students and the teachers in the second fifteenth century. In the second part new degrees are published dating back to the first half of the century. From the overall examination of the documentation, the University of Pavia confirms itself as a place of study not only for the subjects of the Milanese duchy, but also for Burgundians, Germans and Spaniards some of whom contributed to the transalpine spread of Humanism and participated in the religious debate of the first Five hundred
