Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Almost half a century after its publication, "Invisible Cities" has collected translations in around thirty languages, conquering the public of the five continents, from Scandinavia to Japan. "The imaginary atlas" accompanies us on an initiatory journey, in which the author draws a map creating paths around and within one of the most dense novels of contemporary literature and proposes an unprecedented representation of the combinatorial structure of the index, paving the way for new possible interpretations. The journey, in a hyperspace where concepts and geometries intertwine, will reveal its destiny in the encounter with a mysterious and ancestral figure.
