Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume collects a series of essays on the Athenaion politeia of the Pseudo-Xenophon, with the aim of giving an account of the complexity of a very long-standing scientific debate and of offering the scientific community a sort of "fixed point" on the studies on this controversial operetta, from which to start for further investigations with the awareness of the quantitative weight and the qualitative value of past acquisitions. The essays discuss the themes of the paternity of the work, of its dating, of the terminology, of the internal historical references, of the relationships with other literary genres such as comedy and therefore touch on the fundamental aspects of the scientific debate on the work of Pseudo-Xenophon.
