Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the volume by Lauretta Maganzani published in 2016 with the title 'Art tells the law and history of Rome', an attempt was made to tell the most important Roman historical-legal events through a series of pictorial representations that, over the centuries, have kept alive the ideals of the Roman world. In this new volume, to be read in parallel with the previous one, the juridical history of the emperors of the Julio-Claudian dynasty is deepened, highlighting not only some aspects of their life and the innovations they have brought in the field of law and administration. but, where possible, also the fortune of each of them in the subsequent cultural tradition, up to the present day.
