Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] For the first time together, the legal history of Rome and the history of art, from the Middle Ages to the present day, are specularly narrated in a sequence of pictorial masterpieces. They accompany the reader in a historical, juridical and artistic itinerary capable of revealing the deepest roots of Western culture.
