Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the last decades, some variables have emerged in the financial markets that can be defined as "hegemons", as they have determined a homogenization in terms of usability and made in this way comparable products and tools originating from different inputs and contexts. Basically, reference is made to the technological variable and the globalization process that have developed, interacting in a substantially continuous system, towards the identification of increasingly unbounded markets and increasingly uniform systems in terms of valuation and operational fees. These phenomena have also pervaded the original uniqueness of the artistic product, contributing to bringing the art market closer to the financial market and strongly characterizing its connotations in terms of performing and investment objectives. It is undoubtedly true that, historically speaking, the relationship "work of art - market value", although not contemporary in its origin - in the sense that a work of art is not necessarily created with a market value but the market value is attributed to it afterwards and often with a market value is identified a posteriori -, has been confirmed by the subjects who otherwise have benefited or, more precisely, who have benefited from the artwork in question.
