Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay examines the history of the installations of Il servitore di due padroni by Goldoni, created by Giorgio Strehler, and observes the subsequent study of the directorial reading proposed. He focuses in particular on the 1973 edition, in which the director inserts a reading based on the mechanism of theater in theater, which guides the viewer's reflection to observe the truthful power of the scene.
