Abstract

The complex issue of formal recognition of non-formal and informal learning is presented with a specific focus on its opportunities and ambiguities. Definitions of formal, informal and non-formal learning are discussed followed by an exposition of "learning from experience" concept. A critical position about formal recognition of informal and non-formal learning in italian context is assumed by the author.
