Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Aristotelian ilmorphism attributes to the soul the character of substantial form of the body. In the thirteenth century the masters of Latin scholasticism confronted themselves with the Aristotelian doctrine, and Thomas Aquinas re-proposed it in a form compatible with Christian anthropology.
