Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper analyzes the position of Dante Alighieri in the cultural circle that formed around him in Ravenna at the court of Guido Novello da Polenta during the last years of his life. The biography of the individual protagonists is traced and the cultural ferments that accompanied Dante's stay in Ravenna are described, so fruitful also for subsequent developments: in the Romagna city the Alighieri completed Paradise and above all composed the Latin exams, solicited by the Bolognese master Giovanni del Virgilio.
