Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The environmental theme is placed in the stream of the Social Doctrine of the Church, that is in the corpus of documents that refer to the magisterium connected to society in its historicity and complexity. The Church as "mater et magistra" cares about the formation and integral development of man, in different ages and in different areas of his life. This can be found constantly and continuously in the documents of the magisterium, in particular it is clear in the continuous appeal to education, not least the decade 2010/2020 called by the CEI on the "educational challenge".
