Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The pandemic that began in 2020 caused a very rapid upheaval in educational services and professions: within a few weeks consolidated solutions became impractical, but innovative pressures also emerged. If the most obvious were those related to digital and the world of remote communication, perhaps even more important were skills such as working in a team, reflecting in supervision, narrating professional practice, experimenting with humor in the helping relationship, researching opportunities for change, acting ethically and establishing mentorship relationships between colleagues. These second-level skills - without taking away the value of the first-level ones (the educational relationship, individualized planning, management of contexts and training techniques) - help educators to face a responsibility that the pandemic crisis does not cancel but if anything reinforces: to be agents of meaning, of hope and of new forms of proximity.
