Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The starting point of this reflection on the allegory of the Garden of Eden is the text of De opificio and the systematic resumption and deepening of the respective verses of Genesis that Philo presents in the first book of the Legum allegoriae and in the Quaestiones. Finally, Philo's thought is inserted within the broader position of the first 'Greco-Roman' imperial age with reference above all to Plutarch.
