Starting from a brief description of the socio-cultural scenario in which parenting is inscribed, the main challenges of being parents today are outlined, but also the resources on which parents can rely to face this transition and promote growth. of the younger generations. In this regard, psychosocial literature has highlighted the centrality of the parental alliance. Starting from this perspective, a research is presented aimed at deepening the study of family relationships and well-being in families with children of school age, focusing on the role played by the parental alliance in the intertwining with the couple relationship and with the parent relationship. -sons. A questionnaire was administered to 102 pairs of parents with children aged 6 to 11 years. Particular attention is paid to possible operational implications and family enrichment interventions.
