Abstract
The reconstruction Diodorus offers of the Peloponnesian War shows obvious relationships with the tradition of Thucydides and Xenophon. However, unique pieces of information are present in the Diodorus' account and trace back to an alternative tradition. The contribution aims to investigate the relationship between Diodorus and his predecessors by choosing the story of Alcibiades as a case-study. \r\n\r\nTranslated with DeepL.com (free version)
