Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The small essay analyses the fragmentary fresco that has been located for many centuries behind the wooden choir of Morimondo. The patron is identified (Branda Castiglioni, niece of the cardinal of the same name) and the author, recognized as the Master of the Annunciation of the Castiglioni chapel in Pavia.
