Abstract
The text deals with the contact between Italian as native language and German as foreign language, highlighting linguistic interferences at the syntactic and intonational level. Such interferences are not seen as obstacles, but it is argued that they can be useful tools in the acquisition of German, facilitating the understanding of linguistic differences. In the context of the recent CEFR update, with a greater focus on phonological proficiency, the text proposes new teaching methodologies to enhance the learning of German in correlation with prosody. In particular, the contribution aims to consolidate phonological proficiency through the acquisition of the regularities of syntactic accent in German nominal phrases with adjectival expansion.
