Abstract

The Supreme Court of Cassation judges analyze and clarify the legal requirements of therapeutic abortion in art. 6, lett. b), L. May 22, 1978, n. 194, and, in particular, the concept of “pathological process”, expanding the scope of potential applicability of the pregnancy termination, and redefining, at the same time, both the disclosure obligations, and the liability risks, of the medical professional involved.
