Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The theme of urban regeneration is a very current phenomenon and of great interest for local administrations, but also very complex and which, if not properly managed, can prove to be "a double-edged sword" with negative consequences that can overcome the potential benefits (dissatisfaction of citizens, failure of urban policies) .. The aim of this book is to deepen the theme by facing it from an organizational and managerial perspective, offering different interpretations, taken from the literature on city management and urban studies and from case evidences hosted in the volume, and providing indications for the management of regeneration practices - in particular aimed at social innovation and development of cultural initiatives - as effective as possible.
