Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay aims to shed light on the nature of the relationship between the Crown and the fascist government in the twenty years of the regime, analyzing the repercussions of the Mussolini government on the Crown. Among the various institutional changes brought about by the diarchic system, the essay analyzes the inaugural sessions of the legislatures. As a periodic renewal of the bond between the House of Savoy, the Statute and constitutional institutions, the royal session continued to represent an essential moment for the start of parliamentary work from 1924 to 1939. This sort of formal recognition of monarchical authority by Fascism is not excluded continuous attempts to manipulate the ceremony. Starting from the identification of the main discontinuities that occurred at this solemn moment over a period of twenty years, the essay therefore wants to reconstruct a piece of a broader and more complex question: the role and institutional action of the Crown within the distribution of power created by the regime.
