Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay offers some summary considerations on the evolution of review powers, starting from their theoretical and regulatory foundation. The starting point is the question of the justification for the very existence of review powers. We then try to illustrate how that reconstruction, the foundation of which can already be found in the reflections on revocation carried out by Maria Immordino in 1999, laid the foundations for the conclusions reached in relation more generally to the powers of review in the recent writings of the same Author and how it has also affected the regulatory evolution of institutions. Finally, some still controversial profiles are highlighted, to outline in conclusion the future prospects of the reflection on the review measures.
