La valutazione di efficacia tra investimento e percorso

[Autom. eng. transl.] In recent years the host communities for adolescents have seen a continuous succession of transformations due to the rapid changes in society and to the problems associated with immigration. The Mariuccia Kindergarten has carried out an in-depth study of these transformations in its 15 reception facilities, which it makes available to the reader. This volume also presents two tools: one to collect information on the overall objectives of work with minors and on personal and socio-cultural variables that influence the Individualized Educational Plan, the other aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the educational intervention. The perspective with which the work was conceived is part of the recent interest in assessing the quality of personal services; therefore the text can also be an example of the concrete application of an evaluation and educational work model set according to quality criteria. The Mariuccia Kindergarten was born on December 14th 1902, in memory of Mariuccia Majno, by the will of her parents, Luigi and Ersilia Majno, exponents of the Milanese enlightened bourgeoisie sensitive to the conditions of social unease of many adolescents of the time. At the end of the 1980s, the Mariuccia Asylum gradually changed from an Institute into a Housing Community: today it counts on 15 reception facilities distributed between Milan, Sesto San Giovanni, Varese and Porto Valtravaglia and welcomes over 100 adolescents and single mothers with children. The size of the small group is always privileged, allowing the creation of a climate of warmth and familiarity.
