Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The writings that make up the monographic section of this issue of "Quaderni" have been elaborated by the research unit of the Department of Political Science of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart within the research project entitled "Multilevel protection of the right to food safety: national and international instruments to combat food fraud and their impact on the territory (S.AL.TU.M.) ", funded by the Lombardy Region through the Fund for the promotion of institutional agreements. In addition to a prior presentation, the section includes the following writings: "The rapid alert system for food and feed: brief considerations in light of the recent Commission regulation containing the application provisions" (A. Santini); "Towards effective coherence between internal objectives for the protection of human health and international obligations regarding trade liberalization and promotion of development? The case of the regulation of new food products in the European Union" (F. Argese); "From labeling to food information: consumer protection and operators' responsibility in the new European Union regulation 1169/2011" (V. Rubino); "Comparative advertising of food products in the light of the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union" (M. Spatti); "The system of protection of geographical indications to guarantee the quality of agri-food products: a comparison between the European Union and the internationalist discipline in the light of their respective reform prospects" (MC Cattaneo).
