Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Chapter is dedicated to the analysis of crimes against the status filiationis. In the criminal code of 1930, in relation to crimes against the family status, the person is seen from the perspective of the family as a juridical formation to which everyone is entitled, in terms of the right to belong according to biological origins. With this in mind, the State undertakes to guarantee, also through criminal intervention, the truthfulness of the family status of the individual member, understood as correspondence by birth. These are interests of particular importance due to their nature, since they relate to the position of the individual in the family context. In particular, the crimes of supposition and suppression of status, of alteration of status and of concealment of the status of a child are the object of analysis.
