Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] First of all, a general overview of supranational organizations in Europe (European Union and Council of Europe) and their jurisdictional bodies (Court of Justice and European Court of Human Rights) is presented. Subsequently, the discipline of appeals before the Court of Strasbourg and the composition of the latter are specifically illustrated, as well as the regulation of the procedure that takes place before it. Finally, we do not omit to point out the issues that require an adaptation of the rules of procedure to make them consistent with the need for a fair supranational process.
